Continuing Education

Continuing education is required by the Georgia Real Estate Commission for license renewal, but it should be the goal of every real estate licensee to be the most knowledgeable possible to best assist their clients. Continuing education courses should be chosen for content that promotes professionalism and helps protect the interests of Buyers and Sellers, Tenants and Landlords.

The continuing education courses presented by the Atlanta Real Estate Academy are selected to meet those goals. General continuing education courses are available on specific topics that enhance the knowledge base for licensees.

Atlanta Real Estate Academy is pleased to partner with Dearborn, a Kaplan Real Estate Education Company, to offer online classes.  Most classes have 6 Hours CE credit, but we also offer a 24 credit hour course for convenience.

Atlanta Real Estate Academy offers a variety of Continuing Education classes in a classroom setting.  The number of credit hours is included in the course description.

All classes require the student’s presence in the classroom from the beginning until the end of the class.  15 minute breaks are scheduled during every 3 hour period, and a lunch break is added if the class exceeds 5 hours.  A 75% score or higher is necessary for credit if an exam is required for the course.

Business casual dress is required, and disruptive behavior is not allowed.  No recruiting of agents is allowed in any course where Continuing Education Credit is earned.
